What can I expect in an initial consultation?
I will read your material before the consultation and consider it carefully. Then, we will have an hour-long phone call where I will give you specific feedback about the topics that are most important to you. Possibilities include how to organize your material, structure your story, clarify your theme, create a great title or submit your work to potential buyers. The fee is $300.
Do you consult on an ongoing basis?
Yes. How often we work together depends on where you are in your creative process. Some clients have a project that is close to being finished and needs only fine touches. Others will work with me from time to time as they develop an idea into a finished product.
What are your areas of expertise?
While I consult on a wide variety of projects, primarily I focus on non-fiction material related to psychology and business as well as sci-fi/fantasy and action/adventure novels and screenplays. I don’t work on “as-told-to” projects (e.g., biographies or autobiographies) or horror movies.
What is your availability?
I am booked with ghostwriting work at this time, but I am available to consult. Typically, a consultation can be scheduled within 3-5 days after I receive your material. Feel free to email me if you have questions or if you’d like to schedule a consultation.
