The Four Questions

I'm concerned that someone might steal my idea—what should I do, and what's your confidentiality policy?

Here's some good news: everything you've written down is legally protected right now. The relevant intellectual property statute is The Berne Convention. This protects a work by copyright from the moment it is "fixed in a tangible means of expression." Therefore, you can send me your written materials (via email or FAX) and you are protected by law.

In what genres do you work?

I exclusively write informational "how-to" books, articles and speeches in the areas of business and health.

How much do you charge?

Currently my writing schedule is full. However, I am available for coaching and consultations. An initial consultation is $250.

How long does it take to write a book?

There are many variables involved, including book length and pre-existing material. In general, articles take from 1-2 weeks and books take from 12 - 48 weeks. Consultations can happen within three business days.
